The A590 has reopened after a HGV jackknifed blocking both westbound lanes this afternoon.
The road was closed for recovery but Cumbria police said it has reopened.
It meant Stagecoach’s 555 service was not be able to service stops in Heversham, Leasgill and Milnthorpe.
