Police are appealing for witnesses to an indecent exposure incident in Kendal.

The incident occurred yesterday, February 4, at around 8.45am in the area of Oxenholme Road, at the junction with Murley Moss Lane, where a man exposed himself in view of a woman in her 50s. The woman was not harmed and left the area.

Since the incident was reported, police said their officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries including extensive CCTV trawling of the area and are now appealing to the public for assistance.

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident. Officers are also appealing for anyone with any relevant dashcam footage from the time of the incident and the moments before and after, to get in touch.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it, quoting incident number 38 of 4 February 2025 or call on 101.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
