Emergency services were in the centre of Penrith last night – but there was no major incident.
Instead, police, the fire service and the DVLA were pulling drivers over for vehicle checks.
Drivers were also given the opportunity to watch an educational video about safe driving.
They are currently by the Musgrave Monument yesterday, February 14, at around 5.30pm and were due to move on to another location in the town later on.
