A disabled ramp at a Workington play park has been damaged for the fourth time, landing its operators with another £400 bill.
The damage was caused at Vulcan Park and Workington Town Council, which is responsible for the play area, said it will be checking CCTV and informing Cumbria police.
It said: “Following a daily check of our play areas, our Estates Team have found that the disabled ramp leading into the car in the play area in Vulcan Park has been damaged again!
“This is now the fourth time this has happened. We have already replaced the ramp three times previously at a cost of £400 each time.
“This act of senseless vandalism means that those needing assistant or wheelchair access to this piece of equipment can no longer enjoy it.”
