
Workington Town showed Rochdale Hornets what they were made of with an impressive win.
While Rochdale appeared to have the upper hand at first, with two tries. Town managed to cut their lead.
Jake Carter’s conversion saw the lead reduce to four points, then Jake Bradley scored an outstanding try, running 50 metres to give Town a 10-12 lead following Jake Carter’s conversion.
Their comeback victory saw them up their game in the second half of the match at Rochdale and Jamie Doran got the ball to go over the line. Another Carter conversion followed, putting Workington Town ahead by two points.

Jamie Doran scored two tries during the game – his last on 59 minutes – and Levi Atiga picked up the ball following a Hornets spill and kicked it up the field, before he found Dave Eccleston for the touchdown.
