
Police and rangers are patrolling areas of the Lake District this weekend after a rise in concerns over anti-social behaviour.
There has been a spike in complaints over behaviour in popular hotspots including Buttermere and the Langstrath Valley.
Allerdale police said officers and Lake District National Park rangers held a joint operation yesterday, Saturday May 24.
They said: ” On this occasion there was no people found to be acting in an anti-social manner but the area will continue to be monitored and those found to be acting in such manners will be dealt with accordingly.”
