A West Cumbrian home owner’s roof has been damaged as men tried to secure work to fix it.
Three men, who said they were roofers, told the occupant of the home on The Ferns in Egremont that they would fix their roof for a cheap price.
The occupant refused, knowing that no repairs were required.
While one of the men was speaking to the occupant, another climbed on the roof. A large hole was caused while the owner was distracted.
Cumbria police are investigating and released details yesterday, June 1, about the incident, which happened at around 11.20am on Tuesday, May 6.
