A Cumbrian 10-year-old is aiming to complete a Lake District challenge to help a community in Ghana.
Effie Johnstone, of Long Marton, was inspired to launch the fundraiser after attending a talk by Asha Marie Richardson, of the charity Ankoma Outreach, at her school.
Effie aims to complete the Ullswater Way to help support the charity.
Ankoma Outreach supports the Ankoma sub-district in rural Ghana with the development of education, healthcare and sanitation. It aims to support and inspire the community and has helped hundreds of people since it was set up in 2012.
Effie completed the Wainwrights earlier this year and said she was looking for a new challenge.
