A promising Wath Brow Hornets youngster has signed for Super League club Leigh Leopards.

Jamie Graham, a 14-year-old prop with the Hornets, has now signed a scholarship with the Leopards for 2026.

From Frizington, Jamie has been on Leigh’s radar for a little while now and is highly regarded at the Hornets club.

A club spokesman said: “Jamie has been at the club since he was eight-years-old and has come through all the relevant age group teams.

“He’s now with our Under-14s and continues to show the commitment and hard work that he has put in since joining us.

“He also does martial arts and plays union outside the league season.

“His mam and dad have always been right behind him, backing his progress and Leigh have been tracking him for a while.”
