A Cumbrian animal charity has launched an appeal after its kennels and cattery were badly damaged by floods.
The facilities at Oat Tree Animals’ Charity, in Wetheral, near Carlisle, were battered by heavy rainfall yesterday.
Other parts of the site were damaged, but the kennels and cattery were worst affected.
Volunteers had to rescue animals, but the charity said damage to its site was severe and will cost thousands of pounds to repair.
It has launched an online fundraiser to help pay for repairs.
