Burglars target Carlisle building sites

[P]olice are investigating two burglaries which occurred at the McKnights building sites in Aglionby and Wetheral between 4:30 pm on 14th April and 8:00 am on 15th April 2017.

Heavy duty tools have been used to gain entry to containers, and tools stolen from within.

A vehicle has been used to travel to and from the sites, and to transport stolen property.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the building sites, or who has heard vehicles in the area while the sites were closed.

Anyone with information should call PC 2052 Whatman on 101, email 101emails@cumbria.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
