[S]ometime between 11pm on Saturday, 21st April and 9am on Sunday, 22nd April 2017, an incident has occurred involving wheelie bin, at the rear of a property on Rowrah Road, being set on fire.
No-one was injured in the incident but the wheelie bin, a waste pipe and plastic window at the property were all damaged.
Enquiries are currently ongoing but it is believed it may have been started deliberately.
A spokesman said: “Fortunately no-one was injured as a result of the fire but the consequences could have been worse given its proximity to the property. If anyone believes that they have any information that could assist with our enquiries please come forward. I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anyone acting suspiciously”.
