[P]olice are investigating a burglary which occurred between 9:45pm on Sunday, 21st May and 6:30am on Monday, 22nd May, at an address on Beechwood Close, Maryport.
The property was broken into, and a number of items stolen whilst the occupants of the house were in bed.
It is believed the suspect entered through the back or patio door, and left on foot, in the direction of the town centre. The suspect initially would have had a suitcase with them, which was then discarded in the road near the property.
