[T]he 2017 Game Fair season is under way and this year welcomes the all-new Clay Shooting Festival at all seven Countryman Fair events. Coming to this August’s Lowther Show, competitors can put their talents to the test as they shoot against each other with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes!

Headed up by seasoned conservationists, the British Association for Shooting & Conservation (BASC) as well as Promatic, expert coaches will be on hand to offer guidance and advice to new and experienced shooters alike.

This year’s Clay Shooting format includes a fantastic BASC Shotgun Experience for both the beginner and more experienced shot, BASC Shotgun Coaching for those wanting to try shooting alongside a qualified BASC Shotgun Coach and, individual competitions for Pro’s, Clubs, Ladies, Juniors and Veterans with, of course lots of prizes and incentives on offer.

The Clay Shooting Festival also has the opportunity for shooters to complete the BASC Shotgun Safe Shot, an assessment for people wishing to demonstrate their competence in the correct uses and management of a shotgun.

At this year’s Lowther Show, there will be individual competitions for every type of shot with more competitions and higher cash prizes on offer. To get involved simply pop along to the Clay Shooting Festival at Lowther over 12th and 13th August and see what’s in store.

Countryman Fairs organise seven award-winning events across the UK throughout the year, each showcasing the very best in country life.
