[F]irefighters are tackling a car fire in front of the British Legion on West Road in Wigton.
It’s believed the fire stared at approx 11:40pm.
Witness, Lorna Meaghan told Cumbria Crack: “We couldn’t get close due to massive bangs and explosions.
“It sounded like the fuel tank exploded.”
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 23:49 firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle fire on West Street in Wigton.
“Firefighters used two hose reels to put the fire out.”
