Firefighters tackle Barrow blaze

fireenginefront[A]t 6:57pm on Monday 19 June firefighters were called to a fire in a burner room of a commercial property on Kimberley Clark Park Road, Barrow-in-Furness.

Three fire engines, one from Barrow-in-Furness, one from Ulverston and one from Walney, attended the incident.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and a main jet to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were in attendance for three hours.”
