[C]ockermouth Mountain Rescue Team was called to a 20-year-old woman who had slipped on the path and injured her ankle whilst walking round Ennerdale Water.
The team was called at 2.43pm yesterday, Saturday 8 July.
A spokesman for Cockermouth MRT said: “Team members treated the casualty at the scene, splinting her injured leg, and carried her a short distance to the team vehicles and waiting ambulance at the south east end of the lake.”
