Two hurt in Windermere attack

[P]olice are appealing for witnesses following two assaults which occurred on Glebe Road, Windermere, at approximately 3.30am on the 23rd of July 2017.

Two members of the public, a man and a woman both aged 21, were assaulted following verbal abuse directed towards them by a group of males aged around 18 years old.
The male victim sustained a swollen eyebrow, swollen wrist, a burst lip and potential ligament damage to his knee. The female victim was elbowed in the face as she tried to intervene.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged around 18 years old with blonde hair wearing a white shirt.

If you were in the area of Glebe Road, Windermere, and witnessed this assault, please contact PC 2400 Hill at Kendal Police station on 101.
