Police appeal after Penrith burglary

Bikes stolen in the burglary

[P]olice are investigating a burglary that occurred in Penrith.

A garage door was forced and a garage entered in the Hargreaves Court Area of Pategil. Within the garage an untidy search was conducted and items were taken from within. The incident occurred at some point between the 3rd and 4th November.

The items that were stolen include:

  • A Scott Foil 20 Road Bike in red and black with lights and a bike bag.
  • A Planet X time trial bike with white and grey writing, which is known to be fairly rare.
  • A set of vision 35 wheels.
  • A set of Syncos red and black wheels
  • Planet X carbon wheels.
  • Swift Motorbike leathers in black and grey
  • Shoei motorbike helmet, multi-coloured with union jack flags on either side.

Anyone with any information is asked to email 101@cumbria.police.uk or call 101 and ask to speak to PC 2218 Scoffham, quoting incident number 64 of the 4th November. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
