Tony Bond

[A]nthony Bond, commonly known as Tony, was last seen late on the evening of Friday November 9th 2012 in the area of Schneider Road, close to ‘The Tally Ho’ pub.

He had been visiting a friend who lived in the area and it was thought he was making his way back to his then home address on Barrow Island.

He was reported missing on November 11th by his former partner, and mother of his son.

The investigation into Tony’s whereabouts generated more than 300 lines of enquiry, and the case is periodically reviewed by detectives.

Unfortunately, despite this, the wide media coverage, and several reported sightings, there has been no news that has allowed his family any closure.

Tony, who would now be 45, was last seen wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and a red coloured Berghaus-type jacket. He is 5ft 10in, of medium build, balding, and often had facial stubble.

Detective Sergeant Mike Wallace said: “Tony’s family were always sure he would never leave his children behind, and continue to hope he may one day get in touch. Whatever the reason for his disappearance, they remain supportive of him.

“If anyone has any new information as to where Tony could be, I urge them to make contact with me via 101.”
