[T]he A7 Bridgewater Road is closed due to police incident between A595 Castle Way / Newmarket Road / Duke’s Road (Hardwicke Circus) and Cavendish Terrace.
Police were called at 1:21pm.
Police and the ambulance service are in attendance.
It’s believed that someone on the bridge is threatening to harm themselves.
Update: The road has now reopened.
