Appeal after theft of plant machinery in Alston

[P]olice are investigating the theft of plant machinery from a temporary compound on the B6227 near Alston, close to the Unitited Utilities site.

Overnight between Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th of April 2018, the gate to the compound was forced and the welfare unit broken into.

Plant machinery and fuel was stolen from the site.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or who has any information should call PC 2425 Rogers on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
