[P]olice are investigating the theft of a black Honda WW 125 EX2-C scooter which was stolen from York Gardens, Carlisle, on Saturday 14th April 2018.
The vehicle was located on Garfield Street on Sunday 15th April with damage caused, consistent with the vehicle being tampered with.
Two men have been seen interfering with the vehicle on Garfield Street at approximately 3am on Sunday 15th April and are described as being in their 20s. One was wearing a black jacket and cap and a second man was wearing a grey jacket and cap.
Police are appealing for witnesses in the York Gardens or Garfield Street area who may have witnessed the vehicle being tampered with or removed from the area.
