[A] man has been arrested after police were called to a property on Wordsworth Street, Barrow, by a concerned member of the public.
Officers were called at 6:57pm today, Monday 21 May.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a sexual offence.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection to this incident, and no one was hurt during this incident.”
