[T]his year’s mid-summer Festival kicks off with the Rock Concert on Friday 29 June in Market Square.

This free event opens at 6pm with a set from Two Lane Road, a country rock duo from the Eden Valley. They will be followed by the ever-popular local band Water’s Edge. This year we have two headline acts, something for all ages, first Rob Wright as Rod Stewart followed by Ed Sheeran by DE. This tribute to Ed Sheeran performs all of Ed’s biggest hits with uncanny accuracy. The music in market square finishes at 9.30, but you can continue to enjoy live music in many of the pubs in town that evening.

The mid-summer festival is organised by Keswick Town Council with support from local businesses. Lake District Hotels are sponsoring the rock concert and ‘Rod Stewart’ and ‘Ed Sheeran’ will be going back to the Inn on the Square for fans to have their photos taken. Dani Hope, Marketing Manager for Lake District Hotels said “we’re pleased to be supporting the festival again, we think it’s great to support such a local event that entertains the whole town. We’ll be hosting ‘Rod Stewart’ and ‘Ed Sheeran’ after they’ve performed, so why not come into the Inn on the Square to meet them. You can have your photo taken with then for a donation to our charity of the year – Keswick School.”

The Midsummer Rock Concert is part of the Keswick Midsummer Festival organised by Keswick Town Council.
