Free Live Music and Family Fun under the Hub this Summer

[W]orkington Town Council is once again putting on free live music and family fun every Saturday, under the Hub in Workington, throughout summer.

The programme kicks off this Saturday (7 July) with live music from Lee Adams from 1pm – 3pm.

Lee is a multi-instrumentalist musician who blends his personal preferences for music into his set mixed with nostalgic classics to create a soulful and passionate balance. Lee performs a variety of different genres and artists, including Whitney Houston, Queen, Erasure, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and John Legend.

The rest of the summer programme is as follows:

  • Sat 14 July      Soundwave                             12pm–3pm
  • Sat 21 July      Imagination Parties                 12pm-3pm
  • Sat 28 July      Joel Indiana                             12pm-2pm
  • Sat 4 Aug        All Star Factory                       1pm-2.30pm
  • Sat 11 Aug      Poppy Crafts                           1pm-3pm
  • Sat 18 Aug      WADAMS Next Gen                12pm-2pm
  • Sat 25 Aug      Caitlin Swanston                     12pm-2pm
  • Sat 1 Sept       BJ Entertainment                    12pm-2pm
  • Sat 8 Sept       Workington Playgoers            11am-2pm
  • Sat 15 Sept     Trunks (family show)              12pm-2pm

Come along to our events this summer and enjoy free entertainment from our local talent. All events take place under the Hub in Workington Town Centre.
