Kendal man charged after drugs raid

A Kendal man has been charged with drug possession offence following a warrant conducted today (1st November) on Garth Bank.

Luke Harris, aged 27, of Garth Bank, was charged with possession of a Class B Drug (Cannabis).

He has been released on police bail and is scheduled to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on 7th November.

Harris will face additional drug possession and supply charges on the 7th November relating to a previous arrest on the 14th December 2017, following a warrant on the same property.

The charges are as follows:

  • Supply of a Controlled Drug of Class A (LSD)
  • Supply of a Controlled Drug of Class A (Methadone)
  • Supply of a Controlled Drug of Class B (Ketamine)
  • Possession with Intent to Supply a Drug of Class A
  • Possession with Intent to Supply a Drug of Class B (Ketamine)
  • Possession with Intent to Supply a Drug of Class B (Cannabis)

A 27- year -old woman was also arrested following yesterday’s warrant, she was released with a caution for Possession of a Class B Drug (Valium).
