Sigala to play open-air concert in Carlisle

The Jockey Club Live and Carlisle Racecourse have announced that SIGALA will be headlining an open-air concert on Saturday 6th July, with a full live band.

Sigala is one of the UK’s most respected and influential electronic music producers with 7 platinum singles, 8 million worldwide sales, 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over a billion streams under his belt. His debut single ‘Easy Love’ hit the number one spot in the UK chart followed by further mega-hits including ‘Lullaby’ with Paloma Faith and ‘Just Got Paid’ with Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor and French Montana. Sigala isn’t shy of collaborating with a diverse range of both emerging and established talent to create worldwide, dance-floor smashes. Bruce Fielder has risen from bedroom producer in rural Norfolk to dominating the UK music scene with his trademark blend of house-inspired dance-pop as Sigala in a few short years.

With his stellar back catalogue, he was also crowned the number one most played British male on UK commercial radio in 2018. Sigala’s summer influenced hits will surely see Carlisle set for a party like no other when his acclaimed full live band headlines on Saturday 6th July.

The Jockey Club Live are leading promoters on the UK live scene, delivering spectacular line-ups of some of the hottest chart talent and legendary household names to some of the world’s most famous racecourses. The events are renowned for combining a fun filled evening at the races with a spectacular evening concert in the informal and relaxed open-air setting of the hallowed turf. In previous years, Carlisle Racecourse has seen headline performances from artists including Madness, Paloma Faith and Jess Glynne

The Jockey Club racecourses have world-class customer facilities, featuring an array of award-winning restaurants that cater for all tastes, be it Fine Dining through to delicious bistro food. The Jockey Club venues welcome over 2million people a year for some of the UKs biggest racing events so you can be sure a fantastic evening.

Tickets will be on sale at 8am on Friday 8th March via thejockeyclublive.co.uk, with a presale available to customers at 8am on Thursday 7th March. Tickets are priced starting at £28 with all all T&C’s available on carlisle.thejockeyclub.co.uk. There will be hospitality packages available to suit all budgets.

In addition to Carlisle, The Jockey Club Live will be hosting live concerts across Sandown Park, Newmarket, Aintree, Market Rasen and Haydock Park racecourses this summer.
