Fancy yourself as a T-shirt designer?

The Music on the Marr festival is looking for a winning creation to go on the shirts and hoodies marking this year’s 10th anniversary event.
The four-day festival takes place in the village of Castle Carrock between July 18 and 21. Organisers are promising a feast of attractions to help mark its big birthday.
The T-shirts have become something of a festival tradition and organisers are looking for this year’s design to come from the community.
Entries are only open until April 1. Designs must include the MoM logo and celebrate the anniversary.
Full details are available at T-shirt competition on https://www.musiconthemarr.com. Or to receive the MoM logo email triciameynell@gmail.com
Meanwhile, organisers have confirmed the final headliners for this year’s show. Cumbrian and North East favourites Hadrian’s Union will kick off the weekend on the Thursday night. And Wigan-based Merry Hell will close the festival on Sunday night.

To help music-lovers with the cost, organisers have reversed the trend of increasing prices with a full weekend ticket pulled back to £79. Day/Night tickets are also available.
This year’s line-up is set to have a strong Celtic connection with Scotland’s Blazin’ Fiddles and Tide Lines confirmed as headliners for Friday and Saturday night.
Other leading names in this year’s line-up are renowned Danish duo Andreas Tophøj and Rune Barslund, multi-award winner Martin Simpson, fellow BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, colourful musical collective Zimbaremabwe and Irish four-piece Lankum.
The not-for-profit festival will also feature a special tribute to patron and folk music legend Roy Bailey, who died in November.
Camping, weekend and single day tickets are available from the Box Office on (01228) 670329.
