Global superstar Jess Glynne has announced she will be will holding an ‘End of Summer – Party In The Park’ concert at Bitts Park, Carlisle on Saturday 14 September.

Jess was previously scheduled to perform in Carlisle alongside John Newman and Germein on Sunday 4 August.

In a statement to her fans she said: “Hi – you lovely people! As you know I’m recovering from some vocal issues and have been told I can only perform two shows in a row at this time, so I’m thrilled we’ve been able to reschedule my Carlisle show for Saturday 14 September. Sadly at some other shows that’s not been possible, but I’m hearing you, and I want you to be there for ’the summer blow out party to end all parties’.

“So, anyone who purchases a ticket to this show, I’ll give you the chance to bring a friend for free! I can only do that for a limited number of tickets, due to capacity limitations, so please grab them while they’re available. when they’re gone – they’re gone!

“These tickets are available for you to purchase now from www.lhgtickets.com, and from www.ticketmaster.co.uk

“Looking forward to seeing you in Carlisle on Saturday 14 September.

“Thank you for being the best fans ever!” Jess x

Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of LHG Live, promoters of the concert said: “We are fully supportive of any artist who is struggling with an illness. It is clear Jess has an unique vocal talent and has needed a rest to preserve her vocal chords, and make sure she is on top form for this show. This will be one amazing party…one not to miss, and the fact that Jess has agreed to offer tickets like this to hr loyal army of fans shows just how much she values the support everyone has given her this summer. Jess is such an incredibly vibrant and mesmerising artist, arguably the most successful female artist of the moment whose hits have dominated the charts, so we are looking forward to a fantastic concert in Carlisle.”
