After 4 Productions present the next event in their Live & Electric series at Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven, on Friday 29 November – this time with the theme Decades.

In the year that Rosehill has celebrated its 60th birthday, this special evening will feature a range of performers, from young stars to local legends, singing some of the biggest hits of the past six decades. As with previous shows, they will be joined on stage by a live band.

The evening, which begins at 8pm, will be hosted by Mark Stilwell.

Decades is the latest in After 4 Productions’ popular series of themed live music events at Rosehill showcasing local talent, presented by West Cumbrian music professionals Zoe Warren and Lee Shackley.

Zoe says: “It means a lot to us to be bringing Live & Electric back to Rosehill with Decades. There were so many reasons for us to pick this theme. It’s a special way to end this current decade with our last Live & Electric of the year in the same way we started the decade.

“In September 2010, I met Lee when he was planning the first ever Live & Electric and had asked me to be involved. The backing singers and band spent the next few months rehearsing and we all worked hard to bring a great show to Rosehill at the beginning of the following year.

“We had so much fun creating it and it proved to be so popular that we decided to continue creating them regularly. In the past couple of years we introduced themes, presenting around three shows a year.

“The time has flown by and we are so excited to celebrate not only this decade but also the past six, as Rosehill celebrated its 60th birthday this year.

“It’s going to be amazing, with incredible performers, band and songs!”

Tickets for Live & Electric – Decades, at 8pm on Friday 29 November, are available at rosehilltheatre.co.uk or from the box office on 01946 692422. Buy in advance to save £3 each on the door price!
