Police are seeking assistance with any witnesses to a road traffic collision on the night of 15 January 2020 into the early hours of 16 January 2020 on the A7 bridge in Longtown over the river Esk.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The collision potentially occurred around midnight.
“A vehicle has collided with the bridge causing significant damage.”
Any witnesses to come forward and contact 101 referencing incident 48 of 21 January 2010.
