High-value mountain bikes stolen from Ambleside and Staveley

Police are investigating an incident whereby two high-value mountain bikes were stolen from a shed on Stonecroft, Ambleside.

The incident has occurred between 12pm on Monday 10th February and 8pm on Wednesday 12th February.

The two bikes are a Canyon Spectre and a GT Sanction.

If any members of the public have any information in relation to this incident, please call police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 199 of the 12th February 2020.


Police are also investigating a burglary where two high-value mountain bikes were taken from a shed in the Beck Nook area of Staveley between 3pm on 12th February and 12pm on 13th February

The bikes are described as a red Norco men’s mountain bike and a grey Norco men’s Mountain bike which had a noise enhancer on one of the wheels.

Anyone with information should call PC 2595 MCLEAN on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 123 of the 13th February 2020.
