On Tuesday the 25th February police officers in Kendal arrested three men in connection with a series of burglaries in the area, two of the men have since been charged.
Mihalache Ionut, aged 27 of Wildman Street, Kendal has been charged with conspiring to commit burglary.
Cojocaru Ionut, aged 23 of Wildman Street, Kendal has been charged with conspiring to commit burglary.
Both are to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates today (Feb 27).
A third man arrested was no further actioned.
During their enquiries police officers seized a large quantity of jewellery items, some of which have been identified as stolen but the majority of which remain unidentified at this time.
