The Lavetts

The Lavetts set to follow-up their most recent single ‘Silent Disco’ on the 4th April 2020 with one explosive track, ‘Can’t You See’. The track will be the band’s first release of the year so far, but with a catalogue of original tunes, definitely won’t be their last. You can pre-save the track on your choice of streaming platforms through links found on the bands social media pages.

The new track was recorded and produced by Dave Connor of Target Sounds, who also worked with the band on their last release. Discussing the process behind the single, frontman Brandan said: ‘We went back into the studio right on the back of recording ‘Silent Disco’. This is a tune I wrote quite a while ago, so it isn’t a new one to us. I brought it to the band over a year ago and we’ve been gigging it for awhile as well. So hopefully a few people who’ve come to any of our shows will be familiar with it. I think it’s gotta be our most exciting release to date, we hope it’s something a few people can look forward to in these times.’

Can’t You See

The new single ‘Can’t You See’ will be available on all major music platforms and will also be previewed on BBC Introducing in Cumbria before and after release. The four-piece indie rock quartet have enjoyed a firm ascent since their debut single ‘Dotage’ was released in January of 2019, and feel that ‘Can’t You See’ is a statement from a band that have discovered why they loved making music in the first place, with their best releases still yet to come.

The Lavetts are constantly active on the live scene and say they are eager to get back to gigging ways. The group are always keen to preview and try out new material at each gig, you can find live show dates on each of the bands social media pages. Keep posted on the band by following the band on Facebook and Instagram ‘@thelavetts’.  The Lavetts are also available for booking through: thelavetts@gmail.com.
