Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a man reported missing from Burnley.

Stuart Metcalfe, 47, was last seen in the Burnley area at the end of August.

Nobody has heard from him since and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Stuart is described as white, 5ft 11ins, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He also has links to West Yorkshire, Cheshire and there is a suggestion he may have travelled to the Cumbria area. There has also been a possible sighting of Stuart in a tent in Linear Park, Culcheth, Warrington, over the weekend.

PC Ruth Syers, of Burnley Police, said: “We, along with Stuart’s family, are concerned for his welfare. We would urge anybody who sees Stuart or has any information about his whereabouts to contact us straight away. I would also appeal directly to Stuart himself to make contact if he sees this appeal.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 1542 of 14th October 2020. Alternatively, email 4212@lancashire.pnn.police.uk
