Officers have arrested two men following a robbery at McColl’s on Harrington Road, Workington this morning.
Police were called at around 8am this morning (November 4) to the report of robbery following two men entering with an axe and crowbar. A sum of money and tobacco was taken, and the men left the store.
Officers located the two men a short time later.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Both men 34-years-old from Workington were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.”
