Cumbria roadworks round-up: March 9, 2021

A number of lane closures are in force today

A number of lane closures are in place on the county’s busiest roads.

Here is the list of today’s lane closures on Cumbria’s main roads:

  • A590 eastbound between the junctions with the A592 and the A5074 – one lane is closed for roadworks and disruption is expected until 8pm today.
  • M6 northbound/southbound between junctions J37 and J38 – one lane is closed for horticultural works until 9pm on March 21.
  • M6 northbound between junctions J41 and J42 – one lane will be closed for roadworks until 8pm on March 14.
  • The M6 northbound between junctions J41 and J43 – one lane will be closed until 8pm on March 31.
  • The M6 southbound between junctions J44 and J41 – one lane has been closed until 8pm on March 31.
  • The junction of the A595 and the A597 – one lane will be closed until 5pm today for roadside drains works.
  • A595 northbound between the junctions with the A5094 north of Whitehaven and the A597 – one lane will be closed until 5pm today for roadside drains works.
