Power restored to 430 Workington properties

A power cut that was affecting 430 properties in West Cumbria has now been resolved.

The problem, reported to Electricity North West at 1.12pm, was in the area near Clay Flatts Industrial Estate.

A tweet from Electricity North West, posted at 2.35pm, said: “We’ve repaired the fault on our network and we’re happy to say everyone’s power is back on. Thank you for your patience.”
