The tyres of 20 taxis were slashed in a spate of criminal damage.
Police are probing the incidents which took place between 5pm on Tuesday and 9am the following morning, in the areas of Allhallows Lane and Dockray Hall Industrial Estate, Kendal.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 48 of March 10.
