Firefighters from Barrow have been tackling a deliberate fire in a children’s playground this evening.
Fire crews were called to Stanley Road children’s play area tonight when they were alerted to the blaze.
ITs post on Facebook said: “Unfortunately we are reporting another deliberate fire in the Barrow area tonight.
“Attended and extinguished by crews from Barrow. Sad to see that on this occasion a local children’s play area has been targeted. Please share. Help us #KeepCumbriaSafe.
“If anyone is aware of any issues, please report to Cumbria police on 101 and always dial 999 if the fire is in progress.”
