Police, fire and paramedics are dealing with a crash on the A66 near Kemplay Bank Roundabout in Penrith.
Emergency services were called shortly before 4.30pm today and are believed to still be at the scene.
The crash involved two vehicles.
The road is blocked westbound just before the roundabout.
It is understood that a forensic investigation unit is also in attendance.
