All those who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in north Cumbria are being urged to take up the offer.
Everyone aged over 40 is now eligible, and while many people may wait to be called by their GP close to home, people can also use the national booking service and access four vaccinating community pharmacies and a vaccination centre.
They are:
- Carlisle – Boots in the city centre
- Cockermouth – Allison’s Pharmacy at the Globe Hotel
- Penrith – Auction Mart Vaccination Centre
- Whitehaven – Seacliffe Pharmacy in Kells
- Workington – Pharmacy2U at Dunmail Park
If you want to book via the National Booking System – you are urged to book as soon as possible. If you can’t see a slot that works for you, people are urged to try a little later as slots are frequently released.
