A 56-year-old man has died after he fell from his bicycle in Maryport.
Duncan Jackson, from the Maryport area, was found in the road after falling from his bicycle at about 8.45pm on May 6 on Victoria Crescent.
The force confirmed that it was a collision involving a single cyclist.
He was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle where he was pronounced dead on May 8.
Collision investigation officers are continuing their investigation and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting incident number 211 of May 6 and ask to speak to an officer in the Constabulary’s mobile support group.
