
A man was airlifted to hospital after a Lake District paraglider crash.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) attended Harrison Stickle at 3.37pm on Sunday.
GNAAS were on scene in 22 minutes and worked alongside Langdale Mountain Rescue Team and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to assess the patient’s injuries.
He was then airlifted to The James Cook University Hospital.
