
A woman was taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the M6 southbound.
The driver of a Ford EcoSport involved in the collision, a woman in her 40s, was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police were called at about 6.45pm on Monday to the crash on the M6, near to junction 43.
Also involved in the collision were a DAF Truck and a Mercedes.
The injured woman suffered injuries described by Cumbria Constabulary as “not believed to be life threatening”.
No other injuries were reported.
