A housing association has set up a new £10,000 fund to help community groups and organisations provide opportunities for its residents.
Castles & Coasts Housing Association, which owns and manages 7,000 homes across the North of England, has created the fund and is encouraging organisations to apply for funding.
Community groups and organisations can apply for a grant of between £100 and £5,000 from the fund.
It will support projects and activities that create a sense of community, reduce anti-social behaviour and support residents to gain employment or develop their skills, engage in health and wellbeing activities and gain access to digital and financial inclusion services.
Applications will be accepted until August 27.
Each application will then be assessed against the fund’s criteria.
