Two fire engines were called after a car crashed into a wall in Kendal.
Firefighters attended Maude Street at 4.40pm yesterday.
Fire crews assisted ambulance crews in releasing one casualty from the vehicle who was then passed to the care of paramedics.
Teams were in attendance for about 45 minutes.
