Cumbria’s three professional rugby league clubs have all had players discussed by the Rugby League’s match review panel.
Whitehaven’s star Australian full-back Lachlan Walmsley had a potential headbutt charge hanging over him from the game with Swinton but the panel decided no further action was required.
Barrow’s Jamie Dallimore was discussed over a high tackle in the game with Doncaster but again the panel decided that no further action was required.
But the panel has decided to refer for investigation a case of attacking the groin levelled against Workington Town’s Jordan Thomson in the match with West Wales.
In addition, Sean Penkywicz the former Town hooker, is being referred for investigation over an alleged gouging incident.
He was playing for Rochdale Hornets against London Skolars.
