Ellenborough continued their promising start to the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL season with a 38-14 home win over Seaton.
They put themselves well in control by scoring three converted tries in the first 20 minutes of the game.
Andrew Ostle crossed twice in the 8th and 10th minutes with Luke Penrice following on the 20 minute mark. All three were converted by Owen Hoyles.
Levi Wallbanks gave Seaton hope on the half hour when he scored a try which was converted by Jon Carl Benson, to cut the deficit to 18-6 at the break.
Within 12minutes of the re-start, however, Elbra had added two more tries, both through John Irving, one of which was converted by Hoyles.
Seaton did rally through Benson, who converted his own try and also added a penalty but Ellenborough finished on top.
Kevin Hoban went over in the 71st and 78th minutes with Hoyles converting the second one.
Seaton A should have played Maryport last night as well but the game was postponed because of the high number of people being pinged through the track and trace system and having to self isolate.
